Dr. Sandra Viggiani immigrated to the United States as a young girl from South America. She grew up in the Los Angeles area, and obtained her doctorate from Fuller School of Psychology in Pasadena. But she has also lived and worked in rural Oregon, suburban Florida, and the Texas Metroplex. In her practice she sees people with depression, anxiety, parenting concerns, marital issues, and other mental health issues. She treats children, adolescents and adults by using a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy and an Adlerian emphasis. This means that her therapy focuses on the development of a strong individual personality while understanding and accepting the interconnectedness of all people. Her background is multicultural and she greatly appreciates and emphasizes the cultural differences that we all have. Her training also makes her comfortable discussing spiritual and religious issues when that is appropriate for the individual. She can provide therapy using either English or her native Spanish.
