Janessa Radford, ASW
Associate Clinical Social Worker, Registration #111874
Janessa (she/her) is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about providing a welcoming, empathetic, non-judgmental, and inclusive therapeutic environment. Janessa views the therapeutic process as an opportunity for you to explore your past and present life experiences through a lens of curiosity and compassion. This exploration creates space for you to gain insight into the thought patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that prevent you from living a whole and authentic life. She believes in the importance of feeling seen and heard, as well as the human capacity to overcome even the most difficult circumstances. Therapy is a collaborative process, and Janessa will work with you to create a treatment plan that addresses your unique challenges, needs, and goals.
Janessa has over 5 years of experience supporting adults and adolescents with anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, complex trauma, and grief. Janessa takes a person-centered approach to therapy and is trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy. Janessa is dedicated to providing trauma-informed care and she practices from a “Health at Every Size” perspective.
